Gary is a true artist. My Centurion experienced bad front end damage after a storm while in a covered marina. The color code did not fit the Centurion mfg’s specs., so Gary had to match it through experience – wow. Good job.

Gary worked on my fathers Keaton back in 1981 and I just recently came across Gary’s business card in my dads files and thought it was worth looking him up. Gary replaced the fuel tank and floor in record time and at a great price.

Thanks to Gary and Jack our boat will continue to creat memories now into the 3rd generation.

I have had 2 boats that were damaged repaired by Gary.

The first was a Yamaha AR230, someone hit the on the side and popped a small hole in the back above the water line. It took a few days and was a perfect match on the gel coat when finished.

My second boat, a Chaparral 20′ bow rider was hit by a forklift by the indoor storage place I use. The damage was sever to the transom and dropped below the water line. A large section had to be cutout and and hand formed to replicate the graduated steps on the ridge line. Gary came through with a perfect replication of the original area and masterful blending of old and new pin striping.

I would never consider taking a boat anywhere else for repair.

You shouldn’t either.

I needed some Fiberglass and gelcoat…

I needed some Fiberglass and gelcoat repair on my Mastercraft X30 hull and bow. First of all, Gary’s quote came in about half the cost of another shop! That may not be the case for every job, but because of his experience, Gary can tell you pretty quickly what the job will cost. You won’t sacrifice the quality of workmanship with the savings either. I am extremely happy with the results of the repair work, and he was very quick to complete the job. He even repaired a couple of minor things that were not part of the project, and it was no extra cost… about pride in workmanship! I learned quite a bit about boats and boat surfaces from Gary during the process as well. He is super knowledgeable and willing to share that. I recommend his work if you care about your boat. Thanks Gary.

This was my first experience with Gary and Classic Craft and I will be bringing my jet skis and boat back if they need work again, hopefully they won’t. Gary quoted me a price and it came in just under what he said. That is an honest person. He easily could have charged what he quoted. Thank you Gary and company for the great job and fantastic service. You are #1

First off if you know Gary, he’s quite a unique individual that I have had the pleasure of meeting…He ‘s very knowledgeable and his attention to detail and customer service is by far the best as it gets. A real life straight shooter…Gary has worked on both my boats over the years and always exceeded my expectations. Whether it was a full blown dry rot repair or gel coat work he has always delivered a quality job on time! Thanks Gary!

Just wanted to drop you a quick note about the fiberglass repair that was done on my 1997 Sport Nautique. If you remember, I had damage to the fiberglass above the bronze strut assembly (below the boat, around the direct drive shaft area) last year. I previously sent in a review on the nice fiberglass and color matching you guys did. Recently, my steering cable went bad so I decided to do the repair myself to save some money. I called your shop, and you gave some good info on how to proceed with the repairs. When I removed the floor panels and rear seats to access the steering cable, I was pleasantly surprised to find the same professional fiberglass/strut repair done last year looked just as professional from back side of the fiberglass. The backside of the fiberglass was repaired to factory specifications with no excess fiberglass shards or extensive overspray. Its one thing to repair something that meets the acceptance of the average reviewer, but it is another to do a thorough and complete job! Thanks Gary , I hope you guys are around for many more years. I highly recommend your shop to anyone looking for repair. Sam.

“Gary, thanks for taking care of me and our boat repair needs. You got us in very quickly and did a quick turnaround exactly as promised. I had used you in the past and was very satisfied. It’s been 10 years and I am back and still very satisfied. Keep up the great work of being an exceptional customer service company while providing quality workmanship.

Very fast and nice work I was able to send Gary at Classic Craft pictures of the damage to our 2004 X30 Mastercraft and within an hour he was on the phone going over the needed repairs and gave me a quote over the phone. We set an appointment right then and I drop the boat off about two weeks later. I’ve heard many stories of other owners dropping their boats off at the dealer and waiting weeks even months to get their boat back. I dropped the boat off at Classic Craft on Tuesday morning and received a call to pick it up two days later. The work was done and my boat was still as clean. They took very good care of the boat while they had it and my bill at the end was still the same as the quote. I would highly recommend Classic Craft to anyone that needs gel coat work done.

I recently took my boat to Gary for repairs. I was very impressed with his knowledge of every question I asked him. Progressive insurance recominded him and told me that Gary had over 30 years experience. Progressive insurance and Classic Craft treated me very well, and sped up my claim process to get my boat back on the water asap! Gary also gave me tips on my paint and interior. I would definately go back to Classic Craft in the future, and would have faith in Gary handling any job I sent his way! Thank you Gary

Gary (the owner) quoted me a price over the phone for keel repair and was very informative about the process and whether or not I really needed the repair work done. He accomodated my schedule for boat drop off and pickup and completed the work ahead of schedule. The final cost was 20% cheaper than the quote and the quality and craftsmanship of the work was top notch. He stands by his work and was very pleasant and honest. I highly recommend Classic Craft, I know Gary will take care of you. See you at Tahoe Gary!

I took in my 1984 Boston Whaler that had keel damage and transom holes on it. I read the reviews online for this shop and am not disappointed at the service that I received from this shop. The owner of the shop “Gary” was very helpful and got my boat back to me in a very timely manner. He also was very pleasant and knowledgeable. It seemed to me that he really cared about his customers and the cost of the repairs. He is not there just to make a buck. I would recommend his shop to any one that needs repairs done on there boat

I recently took my boat t Classic Craft on Folsom Blvd. Sacramento location for repairs on my boat. The owners spent a great deal of time with me to find out exactly what repairs were needed from my perspective. They then did a comprehensive inspection to confirm all repairs. Prior to beginning the repairs, the owner called me and reviewed the findings so that we both came to a mutual agreement on the needed repairs and estimated costs. True to their word, the repairs were done timely, accurately and extremely professionally. My hats off to a company that honors their committments and performs superior repairs. Kudos to you all. I would recommend to your services to all my boatng friends.

Best Value Boat Shop in Northern California

Gary has restored and repaired several classic speed boats for my Dad and me over the past 25 years. He is a true “old school” craftsman…..the type with the rare skills that are hard to find these days. Gary’s workmanship is beyond reproach, his prices are very reasonable and he will never try to talk you into expensive repairs if he thinks there’s a less expensive alternative. Give Classic Craft a try… will be glad you did!

Gary did an excellent job on our 05 Centurion Concourse!

After our hull was damaged from the dock, I took our boat to Gary at Classic Craft. His crew was quick and thorough, with the repairs. I got it back the same week and now it looks brand new!

I would definitely recommend Classic Craft’s work to anybody and be a repeat customer (but hope I don’t have a reason to be).

Had a 2007 Centurion that needed some fiberglass work done. Had a couple of quotes from the other guys, but went with Classic Craft. Best choice I made! Not only was the work good, classic craft was 25% less, and 2 weeks quicker than the other guys! Will be using Classic Craft for all my work. Thanks Gary

Work boat repairs

Classic craft repaired a California Department of Fish and Game work boat. The boat is a 20 foot Grady White with some front end damage along the rub rail and some gel coat chips along the keel. After checking out several vendors and getting bids we found gary to be the most reasonable deal. After talking to Gary I found him to be very knowldgeable and he gave me confidence that he could do the job right. We picked the boat up last week and it looks wonderful. The damage to the front is blended in so well you can only see the repair if you really look hard. Matching this finish was impossible and we knew that goin in. The boat is 20 years old and has spent the bulk of it’s life parked outside. So the finish is not high gloss and looks nothing like a showroom boat. It is a working vessel. Gary and his crew fixed our vessel at a reasonable price and most importantly in the time he said he would. The boat is already back on the water and it looks great. Thanks Gary and Classic Craft.

Great Work!

I took a damaged wakeboard boat to Gary at Classic Craft a couple of weeks ago. He repaired the gelcoat and rub-rail to like-new condition, I can’t even tell where the damage was. This was also a double-color repair, both yellow and white needed work. His friendly service and accurate estimate were highlights of the service, I would highly recommend!

Best Bang for any buck

After searching the area and getting numerous quotes, Gary at Classic Craft gave me (by far) the best quote. It was less than half of what the other guys charged. So, was quality sacrificed? Absolutely not. We couldn’t tell where the fiberglass damage had been on our 2006 Nautique. We have since taken numerous boats and PWCs there. They are really easy to work with, even on short notice sometimes. We would never take a boat anywhere else and always recommend Classic Craft to our friends.

Jaime Campos

I Jaime Campos of Warlocks Auto Accessories Inc. have been doing business with Gary for the past 10 years.

Gary is the most reasonable shop in town, and has always taken care of my self and any referral customers I have sent to him. Gary Is always very accurate with his time and quotations as a business owner I do not like surprises classic craft has always Taken care of me and I would recommend the team at classic craft to any one looking for ay type of fiberglass restoration or repair.

We recently damaged our boat on Folsom lake on a large submerged granite bolder. Other shops, due to many boats being damaged due to the low water levels in Folsom were backloged and stated we would have to wait 6 to eight weeks. Clssic Craft was able to get the boat in and repaired with 3 weeks and handled all of the insurance issues. Great service and I would recommend them hands down.

A very friendly shop owner who genuinely likes boats and boaters. Does his best to accommodate needs and costs.

Great Work

We know when it came time to have some restoration work done on our 1950 Chris Craft, that we would take it to Classic Craft. We are very happy with the results and we will definitely take it back for future work.

Boat Repair

Classic Craft recently replaced the worn out carpet in my 1998 Keaton 18J. Gary was able to perfectly match the color and the install took less than one day…The boat now looks as good as new. The price was very fair and the work is exceptional. I would highly recommend Classic Craft for your boat repairs.

Saved the original planks.

I am more than completely satisfied with Gary’s shop work on refinishing my totally original Philbrick. As you know the more original wood on a boat the more original it is and the higher the value it maintains. I took my boat to Gary for a refinishing and was prepared for at least a half dozen planks would be replaced due to splitting. Gary investitgated the reason for the splitting and concluded it was due to insufficant hull ribbing in the bow. He installed 3 new ribs and was then able to fill and pull in the the cracked planks to the original form and then refinished the boat. the boat looks better than when i first picked it up as new! Gary has retained ALL the original wood and increased the boats value. I am very, very pleased with the scope of the repairs and refinish and believe it was done at a very fair price. I highly recomend Classic Craft for your wood boat repairs and refinishes.
